So the results were confirmed today that she definitely is a Little Girl! :0D She was wiggling around a lot and sitting with her legs criss-cross-applesauce and once in awhile we'd catch her opening and closing her little mouth. SO CUTE! She didn't show off her profile today, or the bottoms of her feet like last time, but we were able to see a little more clear picture of all the little things that the doctor likes to measure and stuff. Her head is a very normal size, and I think they said her body was too. Oh and she's at a super chunky 10 oz now. CRAZY! I remember when she was just a little gummy bear sized thing! Anyway. Jami, my ultrasound tech (yes her name is my name AND she spells it the same way as me!) said that we wouldn't be able to predict how big she'll be when she's born, at least not at this point. And, she said that when we come in on Monday for the regular monthly visit we'll "have" to do another ultrasound since little Brooklin (tha'ts what we're calling her for now until we decide for sure once she's born) wasn't showing off her heart as much as was desired, so we get to see her again! That's three times in just over 1 week. I could definitely get used to this!
Oh did I mention she kept sticking her bum up in the air? The other day Trenton started dancing Trenton style like he sometimes does (hands up and wiggling hips back and forth) and we were joking that when we feel Brooklin kicking it's probably just her dancing around like her dad :0] So when she kept sticking her bum up in the air I thought of her little hips wiggling around like her dad. Way too cute!
Anyway, the pictures that were printed were not the best, either last time or this time, but maybe I'll try and scan one in and post it anyway. It's definitely more enjoyable to watch her dancing around live instead of through a still shot here and there. Maybe we'll try and get one of those DVDs made somewhere before she gets too crammed in there.
And by the way, we didn't ever find a 3D ultrasound place, but I've heard people really like to do that - and some people think it's a bit creepy. I think I'd like it alot because right now, especially with her face, you can BARELY see the outline of where her face is and mostly see just her skull. Anyway!
Enjoy your weekends!

HEY!!!
We are SO going to come early. See ya on Wednesday unless you cancel. We will probably be there about ten or eleven <3 ya!
PS
at night :0}
how exciting! I remember when I could feel Elise's little stuck-up bum through my belly...just that thought makes me consider having another kid because it is such a precious time. I am so glad you are finally at the fun part of pregnancy. Now we just need to see a belly shot ;)
Yay!
I'd definitely recommend doing a 3-d ultrasound. It's one of my favorite pregnancy memories!
bah! Jami i am so excited for you! So you can feel her kicking then?? I can't even believe it still! You are so lucky to get all of those ultrasounds- seriously. I wanted to beg my doctor to give me another one but he said only two. lame. I love the feeling of them moving around and can't wait for the next one. I love the name "brooklin" if that is how you spell it. It just will fit in perfectly with your little family. I hope we get to see each other in the Christmas season. I am headed to Oregon a week from today and am very excited!!!
yay, that is so exciting. You will have a littlie so soon, isn't that just boggle your mind?? Anyway, yay for a girl.
