A letter I sent out to our fam:
Hey everyone!
So, just a little update from the Little family in Provo -- well, I guess we're officially Orem residents now... Anyway. We've been moving into our new apartment the last few days and last night finally finished up moving everything INTO the apartment! Now it's just stacked in every possible space waiting to be re-directed to a more permanent location. We are excited to go through our stuff and move things into "DI" boxes, "Storage" boxes, and put everything else in it's own cozy location. Hopefully we fill a lot of DI boxes, because we really do have a TON of stuff! I don't know where everyhing came from...!!
Grandma and Grandpa M have been so kind to let us crash at there place while we were apartment searching, and even now while we're trying to get settled in. It's nice not having to wake up in our new place quite yet with everything a huge mess of boxes and unarranged furniture! At least for now - we're definitely excited to get to spend our first night in our new place, whenever that happens! It's tricky for me trying to be helpful because I can't really move boxes around, and definitely can't move furniture, so I feel more in the way most of the time than anything. I think yesterday while Trent was at work was when I was the most productive in opening a box and putting some of the things away. (Mostly kitchen stuff since the cabinets and drawers are all ready in place :0)
Trenton started putting together Brooklin's bassinet and we've hung a bunch of her clothes up in her closet, so we're finally able to start preparing a bit for her arrival!
And speaking of our little baby -- we had an ultrasound yesterday because at our 20 week ultrasound before we left for WA she was being shy and we didn't get all of the measurements that the doctor needed, so he said to schedule on when we were back in town. Today I'm 34 weeks, so that was quite a few weeks ago, and man has she filled out since then! She has really chubby little feet and definitely squeezable cheeks! She was opening and closing her mouth a ton, so the picture we have of her face is mid-open/close - but you can still see her cute chubby cheeks :0) We also got a shot of her with her fist tucked right under her chin - honestly I can't tell that's what is happening but Trent and the ultrasound tech can see it - so once I figure the best way to post those pictures you'll have to see if you can tell. We got a picture of her chubby foot too. So cute!
She's doing well as far as we can tell! I actually have to go in to a different hospital this next Tuesday for a different ultrasound consult because she's a little small, especially her head - and they want to make sure everything is going ok. She seems to be doing fine in every other aspect though! She still kicks around, and is moving as we speak! She's about 4.5 pounds which I think is pretty healthy for 34 weeks - at least it seems on track. Her femur is in the 50th percentile and my fluids are aplenty for her to be getting nutrients from... it's just her head is just barely over the 10th percentile which is really small, so my doctor wanted me to go make sure she's ok! We'll also be going in every week until she's born to get stress tests to make sure she's doing ok. In the middle of the ultrasound the tech mentioned that she was measuring about 31 weeks, but at the end Trenton said the ultrasound tech mentioned that she thinks Brooklin's about 10 days behind schedule. Maybe she won't be born until even a few days after Bud and Karen are scheduled to come! Crazy.
I was really worried and emotional yesterday about all the different things that could be wrong, but really, we don't know if there IS anything wrong just yet. We're hopeful that she's just small but with really long legs like her dad :0) And we're happy she seems to be doing well for the most part with everything else! We'll keep everyone updated for sure, and hopefully we'll know next week a little bit more about how she's doing!

I understand how stressed you must be. It's hard thinking straight normally and then add a TON of hormones and there is just no hope!
I am sure Brooklin will be just fine. I think they just like to look into every possibility because they can. When I first had my ultrasound they told me Elise was small and even moved my due date further out and then she ended up being 1 week late on top of that and a whopping 9 pounds so you never know what will happen!
Congrats on the move ~ it will be so exciting to have her room all set up and waiting. I know that is the time that it all started being real to me. I can't wait to see her cute pictures!!!!
