precious moments

So lately Brooklin has been having a pretty upset stomach - we've been keeping her loaded with Mylicon to try and keep the bubbles to a minimum - and as a result of the upset tummy she seems to be kind of a grumpy baby when she's awake, and even cries out in her sleep which as mentioned in an earlier post breaks our hearts. Anyway - so I LOVE love it when she has moments of peace while she's awake. This does happen but it's not as often as it used to be. Anyway, so I love this picture because it's Brooklin awake, and calm. She's such a sweet baby when she's not hurting!

This is Brooklin snuggling with me after a feeding. She is adorable! This is one of my new favorites of her. While she was napping after she had burped a few good times I noticed her little hand was stroking my arm for a few minutes. It could have just been that her arm was falling and she kept bringing it back up, but it was sweet nonetheless. She has the softest skin ever!

And of course, her yawn. I love it! She looks just like her dad when she yawns. :0)

This is Brooklin sleeping on me again - I know, it's a bad habit... but we love it! Anyway and these are her 3 month sized clothes that she wore for the first part of the day. YES I said 3 month size!!! The pants are ridiculously large, but they don't fall off which means something - and the onesie fits her VERY well. She also fits in the newborn size onesies very well still, I guess the 3 month size is a little bit long, but it fits her better than the newborn size ones did when she was a couple weeks old.

Cute little baby!

Precious, just precious. Even though I'm all gung ho on babywise and getting your kid to sleep in their bed, I say just ENJOY the cuddles and the falling asleep on your chest. It's such a sweet thing and she's only going to be itty bitty like this for a little longer.

I'm sorry that her tummy is hurting so often. Does she maybe have reflux? Or is it something you're eating?

I'm glad you're enjoying your sweet little girl! Sophie and Alice did a LOT of sleeping on me for the first while. It's so nice and relaxing, but you can't get much done around the house that way. I hate to suggest it, but Brooklin might be having a hard time with you eating dairy. I cut it out of my diet with Sophie for a while and it helped her tummy out.

Oh, that is what heaven is. If it makes you happy, let her rest on you. You can't get any closer to heaven then that! There will be time later to teach her to sleep on her own. No baby was ever loved too much, IMHO.

So sweet! I can't wait to get my mitts on her! Have you tried Gripe Water? I think my Sister-in-law found it at Target. It worked great for her little guy ... didn't work for my sister's little one. It might be worth a try! Love, Corin
