So I remember mentioning before mackenzi girl was born that I was kinda nervous about the bathing thing with Trenton gone. Above is my solution. I haven't had too many nights when I don't have help putting these cuties to bed, and they do bathe together on the nights Trent's home or my mom is helping as well. I usually bathe mackenzi girl first so brooklin can play around in the water, then she gets bathed. They get lotioned and diapered and pj'd at the same time, or whoever is crying/whining gets taken care of first (usually mackenzi girl) Then we do prayers and one or two stories (when I'm by myself) with both girls on my lap, then Brooklin gets put down, and then I'll nurse mackenzi down she goes too. Mackenzi LOVES tubby time. She'll be super angry because she's tired, and then she'll hear the tub running and calm right down. She usually stays calm too, until towards the end of lotioning/pajamas. So when we have to do story time with all three of us she's not very happy, but I feel bad making Brooklin wait until I'm done nursing mackenzi before she gets the rest of her bedtime routine. One  time I put on "the frog show" for her (the leap frog letter factory which is her absolute favorite EVER she is OBSESSED, oh and it works by the way, she knows all her letter sounds and can point them out most of the time) and that worked okay but it just stretched bed time a bit too late for her I think. She did crash, no playing around before falling asleep, but I don't like thinking that I make her over tired. So it works people! I can do bedtime on my own, and it's not super stressful or scary like I thought it would be. LOVE that bathing sponge by the way... in case you want one  -  babies r us is where we got this one.

You see that gymboree bag in the background? We had about 4 or 5 of those STUFFED with clothes that fit Brooklin right now. Karen has a friend who has grandkids who have SO many clothes, so we got some leftovers from the little girl. In this picture she's modeling a hat (it has monkeys on it so it's a huge hit), a onsie that has cute sleeves AND a cute butterfly, which is covered by a super cute top thing and a jean skirt that is SO cute on Brooklin. She now has more fleece pajamas than we can probably USE - which is saying a lot. I LOVE pjs and didn't think I would ever think that we could have too many for these little ones, but we already had tons, and now we have tons times two. Anyway I'm loving picking out outfits for Brooklin with all the new pants and dresses and shirts and even shoes that we got. Thanks Karen!
This is a rare picture of Brooklin girl with piggies. She doesn't like me to do her hair very often, and those few times she does let me, it only lasts a couple of hours if that. I think this day she pulled out one of the piggies, so she had a side pony tail the rest of the day. It was still pretty cute. She cracks me up
Mackenzi girl! Let's play guess what size she's in. Um, I'll tell you. SIX MONTHS! I'm spazzing out a little. I think this is pretty normal, for a baby to be in clothes that have a tag size bigger than their age, but Brooklin was just the opposite and stayed in her clothes for months and months at a time. I'm just not used to having my baby only wear an outfit one time before she grows out of it! Even the preemie stuff Brooklin wore for three weeks at least. Anyway. The onsie will fit Mackenzi for a while, but hose pants and shirt (around the neck) will not fit her for very much longer. I literally just pulled out the 6 month stuff, and haven't even STARTED to dip into having her wear much of it. At least she's worn my two favorite outfits that Brooklin wore 198156 times each, at least. Moving on:
Cute Mackenzi girl is like her big sister in wanting some alone time. When I know she's not tired, hungry, or poopy, but she's still a bit fussy, I'll try sitting her up on the couch or against a pillow, and she'll chill right out. She doesn't hang out like this for as long as Brooklin did, but she definitely calms down and hangs out for a bit at least. She's so cute! I love those cheeks!
This is one of Mackenzi that I think looks a lot like Brooklin did when she was a munchkin. Cute cute
Annnd the finale - Brooklin letting me know what the camel says. Good job Brooklin girl! I can hear that camel from here. :)

Too cute - they look totally alike as babies...I thought they were both of Mackenzi until I read the description all the way through.
And congratulations on bath time! Ryan is usually home for nights so I still get stressed out when I have to do it by myself - you are rockin' it!
