"Cutest Baby"

 

This year for Halloween Brooklin was a "fraff". Or as we say in more refined, non-brooklin english, Giraffe. We had a tri-ward Trunk or Treat complete with a costume parade and chili/cornbread chow down. Brooklin, although super tired, had a blast. Trenton paraded her around (I don't think we got any pictures) and while they were parading around the gym I guess the kiddos were being judged. She got the "Cutest Baby" award. I agree! She was definitely the cutest baby! There were actually TONS of kids there so I was surprised she won any kind of award, and actually at first thought that every kid got something, but figured out pretty quick that wasn't the case. She's just too irresistible!

She was pretty cute gathering candy from trunks too. The very first trunk we went to, she handed me her basket and grabbed the goods out of it then wanted to just sit there on the sidewalk and admire her loot. We convinced her it would be worth her while to move on, so she did. She'd stop about every few cars and want to sit down again to admire her stash. She also got into the habit of grabbing something out of her basket to hand to the next person who gave her candy. She was into trading I guess. Most people would give her back what she gave them, but some of the things she was giving away were just too tempting for some of the people. Too funny! 

Her favorite candy would be dumb dumbs. Or probably any type of sucker. I even was allowed to cut TWO toenails while she was eating a sucker. That's big people. This girl won't even let me touch her feet without massive squirmies even when I don't have clippers in hand. She's crazy! But we love her.
